Criminal Assets Bureau seizes car and €50,000 in cash in Kildare house raid

Officers from the Criminal Assets Bureau have raided a house and seized a car and €50,000 in cash.

Helped by Lucan gardai in Dublin, CAB members carried out a search of a home in Maynooth, Co Kildare at 1.10pm today.

During the operation, officers seized the money and a 2018 Range Rover SUV.

A 27-year-old man was arrested in connection with the seizure.

He is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Lucan Garda Station.
