Criminal Assets Bureau Dublin and Carlow raids see cash, phones and designer clothes seized in search targeting drug dealer

Businesses in Dublin have been raided as part of a search in two counties by the Criminal Assets Bureau.

The three professional and business premises were searched in the capital, while a residential dwelling in Carlow was also searched.

Among the items seized were cash, designer clothes, mobile phones and a small quantity of drugs.

It was focused on an individual who is selling drugs across Wicklow, Carlow and North Kildare.

They said: "The Criminal Assets Bureau, with the assistance of the Garda Emergency Response Unit and local Gardaí attached to the Carlow District, conducted a search operation in Counties Carlow and Dublin today, Thursday, 12th of November 2020.

"Four premises were searched as part of today’s search operation which included one residential dwelling in Co. Carlow and three professional/business searches in Dublin.

"The following were seized:

  • €5,800 cash
  • Canada Goose Jackets
  • Louis Vuitton bag
  • Mobile phones and financial documents
  • A small quantity of cocaine and cannabis was located during the search of the dwelling in Co. Carlow

"The CAB investigation is focussed on an individual involved in the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Wicklow, Carlow and North Kildare areas."
