Crimewave rips through Kilmarnock estate as two high-end cars are stolen

Police have a launched an investigation after a crimewave ripped through a Kilmarnock estate at the weekend.

Two high-end cars were stolen and one property was raided by thieves on the John Walker estate in the town.

A grey Audi A3 was pinched from a driveway on Dalwhinnie Gardens at around 3.15am on Sunday, November 24.

Between 3am and 4am, a number of personal belongings were nicked from a home on Cardhu Gardens.

During the same timeframe, a blue Audi A4 was stolen from a home on Dalwhinnie Crescent. And between 6.30pm on Saturday, November 23 and 9.50am on Sunday, November 24 a vehicle was entered and an attempted theft was carried out.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Enquiries are ongoing into these incidents and police are currently investigating.

“Anyone with CCTV footage that could help with these incidents is asked to call the non-emergency police number 101.”

People with any information are asked to contact Sergeant Iain Farmer on 101, quoting the reference number 1420.
