Crieff pensioner pushed woman holding four-year-old child down flight of stairs

A pensioner who pushed another female, holding a young child, backwards down a flight of stairs will discover her fate at Perth Sheriff Court on February 3.

Sixty-seven-year-old Mairhi Donaldson, of Crown Place, Crieff, has been ordered to appear personally after a no-show at court on Friday.

She pled guilty to the incident which took place at her home on March 18, 2019.

Donaldson seized the victim by the neck, pushed and pulled her by the body and thereafter pushed her on the body.

That caused her to fall backwards on a flight of stairs, while holding a four-year-old child.

The accused then again seized the other woman by the neck and pinned her to the ground, all to her injury.

A background report, previously ordered, will be prepared.
