Cricket World Cup 2019 results and standings: Full table for tournament group stage

The 2019 Cricket World Cup takes place in England and Wales this summer, with the ten best ODI sides in the world battling for the right to be crowned world champions.

The ICC have decided on a format change for this summer’s tournament, doing away with a multi-pool group stage structure.

Instead, the competition begins with a ten-team round robin, where every nation plays against every other nation once.

Teams earn two points for a win, while any match abandoned due to bad weather will see the points shared.

At the end of that round phase, which totals 45 matches in all, the top four teams will progress to the semi-finals. If teams finish level on points, number of wins will be the tiebreaker, followed by net run rate and then head-to-head record.

The team finishing fourth will face the team who top the standings in one semi-final, with the second and third placed sides meeting in the other.
