Google has marked the World Twenty20 semi-finals with the latest Google Doodle on its homepage, linking to the search term “cricket score”.

The image, featuring bats in New Zealand and England strip colours, is a nod to today’s men’s semi-final in Delhi – which is only England’s second semi-final at a World Cup or World T20 since 1992.

The match starts at 2.30pm BST – and comes after England’s women have faced Australia in their semi-final. Australia have won the last three women’s tournaments, beating England in the past two finals.

Previous sporting Google Doodles have included the blue, red, orange and green effort for the Canada 2015 Women’s World Cup final, one for its Indian and Pakistani sites during the 2015 Cricket World Cup, and another celebrating the start of the 100th Tour de France in 2013.
