It’s been a busy summer of English cricket already, with a thrilling drawn Test series against New Zealand followed up by an unexpected triumph for England in the one-day series. To top that England have just gone one up in the Ashes series, beating Australia by 169 runs in Cardiff last week. The series is neatly poised with the second Test at Lords starting tomorrow.

To coincide with the excitement of this year’s Ashes series, we’d like to see your photographs and hear about your memories of watching and playing the game yourself.

Whether you are supporting Australia or England in the upcoming tests, cheering on your county in domestic competitions like the NatWest t20 Blast, or would like to share a more personal experience of how much cricket means to you and your family and friends, we would love to see your pictures and stories. We will feature the most interesting content on the Guardian site.
