Cribbs Causeway getting new crazy golf venue costing more than £1m

An impressive new crazy golf venue is set to open in Cribbs Causeway later this spring. Mulligans is opening its 15th site in The Venue - home of Vue cinema and Holywood Bowl - in a new project costing more than £1 million.

The company's latest facility will spread across more than 14,000 square feet with a host of activities for all ages. Crazy golf will be the lead attraction with two 12-hole courses, as well as offering other games including electro-darts, shuffleboard, pool and ping pong.

Mulligans is owned by Adventure Leisure, which is a subsidiary of Burhill Group Limited and owns a string of mini golf businesses. Adventure Leisure has said it is passionate about creating an amazing new family entertainment centre for the local community, with an investment totalling more than £1 million, and has said its Bristol Mulligans venue is set to be one of the best venues in its portfolio.

Lauren Price, Marketing Manager of Adventure Leisure Ltd, said: “Bristol will be an amazing addition to the Mulligans family. Our latest venue will thrill and delight all players and I personally look forward to the venue becoming a jewel in the Bristol leisure scene for many years to come."

Andrew Scholey, Operations and Development Director of Adventure Leisure Limited, at BGL, added: “We’re thrilled to continue our expansion with the introduction of Mulligans Bristol. I’m confident in saying Bristol will be one of our best venues so far. I’m excited to continue the growth of such an amazing brand like Mulligans.”

The new Mulligans site Cribbs Causeway’s The Venue will create at least 30 new job opportunities and is set to open in May 2023. Pricing is yet to be confirmed, but Mulligans Bristol will offer 10 per cent off to all emergency services, NHS staff members and Armed Forces personnel. The venue will also serve food and drinks, with deals on cocktails at certain times of the day.

Following the success of the most recent site launches in Worcester, Milton Keynes, and Swansea, the Bristol venue will become BGL’s 15th location, along with Basildon, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Cheltenham, Newcastle, Nottingham, Sidcup, Stevenage, Tonbridge, and Woking.
