Crews rush to fire near West Lothian secondary school

Firefighters are tackling a grass fire near a West Lothian school.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident in a grassy area at the back of Whitburn Academy at around 1.40pm.

Concerns about orthopaedic waiting times in West Lothian

A council spokesperson said the fire was not on school grounds and the academy remains open.
