Coronavirus regulations means travellers must self-quarantine when returning from a country not on the government's safe list upon arriving back in the UK.

The rules apply to tourists even making a transit stop in a country or territory that is not on the travel corridor list in the 14 days before arriving in England.

This applies to all travel to England, by train, ferry, coach, air or any other route.

It is applicable to all UK residents, as well as visitors to the UK.
