Cregagh Primary School kids with hearing impairment reduce audience to tears with festive song

Hearing Impairment Unit pupils from a Belfast primary school reduced their audience to tears on Friday as they put on a special festive performance.

The pupils from Cregagh Primary School helped local residents celebrate the Christmas Tree Festival at Cregagh Presbyterian Church.

Principal Mr David Heggarty told Belfast Live as the children sang Little Donkey and Away in a Manger', 'hardly an eye remained dry.'

He said: “All our pupils make us proud every day. These are wonderful children who overcome adversity every single day.

"Today, they have shared their zest for life and festive joy among those visiting the Christmas Tree Festival.”

Cregagh Primary School and Hearing Impairment Unity is located along East Belfast’s Mount Merrion Avenue and celebrates it’s 80th Anniversary this school year.
