A creep has been jailed for flashing two teenage school girls at a busy Glasgow train station.
Hugh McInnes exposed himself to the 14 and 15-year-old girls while sitting at the Argyle Street entrance to Glasgow Central Station on May 27.
The horrified youngsters reported the incident to British Transport Police (BTP) who raced to the scene and arrested the pervert.
McInnes, 49, of no fixed address, was convicted of public indecency and a sexually aggravated breach of the peace at Glasgow Sheriff Court on July 26.
He was sentenced to 16 weeks imprisonment for the offences.
BTP Sergeant Gary Ketterer said that such behaviour would not be tolerated.
He said: "Sexual offences will absolutely not be tolerated on the rail network. Everyone has the right to travel and feel safe.
“We will always take reports of sexual offences seriously, and in this case were able to quickly arrest the suspect at the scene and bring him before the courts.
“If you are ever a victim of a sexual offence or sexual harassment on the railway network, you can text us discreetly on 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40. In an emergency always call 999.”
