Transforming a kitchen can make such a difference to a home - but it often comes with a pretty sizeable bill too.
But a mum has shared the incredible results of her DIY makeover at a fraction of the price - leaving others in awe of the new look.
Showing how the room used to look on TikTok, user @Sophies.Home shared a clip of her slightly dated kitchen nine months previously, with brown, burgundy and white patterned tiles, wooden cabinets and a grey floor.
Armed only with paint, which cost under £100 in total, she reveals she painted the entire kitchen, including the floor, tiles, worktops and cupboards.
It transformed the kitchen into a modern grey and white theme, including a feature splashback behind the cooker with a black and white pattern.

But rather than pay out on new expensive tiles and fittings, Sophie created it herself by painting a stencil picked up on Amazon.
She revealed to those desperate to know how she had pulled off the transformation that she had used Zinsser Bullseye 1-2-3 primer on everything first before using two colours of paint to finish it off.
For the tiles, floor and worktops she opted for white GoodHome Multi Surface Paint, and used grey paint from the same brand to accent the cupboards.
She finished off the counters using Ronseals' interior varnish to keep them protected.
It brought the kitchen up to the incredible standards of the rest of her home, which you can see on her popular Instagram page.
The video racked up more than 138,000 views, leaving plenty of homeowners jealous of the results, as Sophie added it still looked immaculate almost a year later.
One replied: "Hard to believe, the whole kitchen looks new."
Another said: "Omg it looks soooo good!!!"
A third wrote: "Wow this is gorgeous! Would have loved to have seen you do it. Amazing skill."
