A green-fingered resident in Nottingham has sparked curiosity among neighbours after they transformed their garden hedge into the giant face of a cat.
The moggy of Mapperley has been completed with branches for whiskers and home-made blue eyes.
Anna Tyler, a broadcast journalist, said she noticed the feline shrubbery when she said she felt like something was watching her.
The mother-of-two said: "I looked up and just thought, blimey - that's a cat.
"It's probably been there a week or so. The owners have clearly gone to a lot of effort - the eye colour even matches the garage.
"I spoke to the owners, who actually have a real cat too, and they've said they hope to change the design seasonally.
"Maybe a pumpkin for Halloween, or something festive for Christmas.

"I was told the eyes are made from carpet liner, coloured with blue sharpie, although they are planning to upgrade them."
The crafty kitty is in good company, with Anna's family having a cat named Eric, as well as two more living next door.
"My son is four, and he loves it. I think it'll be popular with passing school children," Anna said.
"I'm not really a fan of really ornate house decorations, but this is quite fun and creative."
Another resident in the area said: “It’s brilliant.
"Most people trim their hedges into the number of their house but this chap’s paid homage to his pet.
“It’s a lovely thought and has made a lot of us chuckle.”
