Award-winning Finnish gin, Kyrö Distillery Company is heading to Edinburgh tonight for a one-off masterclass and blending session at city centre bar Heads & Tales.
Founded in 2012, Kyrö Distilling Company specialises in rye-based spirits including its flagship Napue Gin. Kyrö is the creation of Miika Lipiäinen, Mikko Koskinen, Kalle Valkonen, Miko Heinilä and Jouni Ritola, who came up with the idea whilst sharing a dram of rye whisky in a sauna.
Guests will be able to discover the story of Kyrö Distilling Company and explore the art of gin blending using 10 botanicals to make their own unique spirit to enjoy at home.
The event kicks off at 7pm tonight and include a Kyrö gin and Fever Tree gin and tonic, a Kyrö gin blending session and your own gin blend.
Nestled in the heart of Edinburgh’s West End and hosts a huge array of creative cocktail combinations designed by its team of expert bartenders.
This year Heads & Tales was named sixth best cocktail bar in Europe by the Big Seven Travel Guide and is the home of Flora and Caledonia, two of Edinburgh Gin ’s stills.
