Creamfields North's strict alcohol rules on what booze can and can't be brought to the festival

Returning to Daresbury in Cheshire this year, Creamfields North celebrates its 25th anniversary when it entertains music-lovers over the August bank holiday weekend. To avoid unnecessary complications upon arrival to the festival, organisers have made clear their rules on alcohol on their website.

Strictly no booze is permitted into the event arena. This will be enforced at the arena's entrance.

However, alcohol can be brought into the festival site if you are camping, albeit with slight restrictions. A limit of 24 cans and a one litre bottle of spirit or wine per person is allowed.

The cans can be loose and mixed (12 ciders and 12 beers for example), so long as they do not exceed two dozen. Any alcohol in glass bottles must be decanted into plastic bottles while no kegs are allowed under any circumstances.

What food and drink can be bought at Creamfields?

Food and drink stalls and markets will be dotted around the Creamfields site serving a range of different options. . Although alcohol cannot be brought into the arena, an array of bars can be found within, serving everything from beer to wine to cocktails to soft drinks.

Among them is The Crown, where you can take a pew on the roof terrace for a beer. The Red Lion in the campsite village is another ideal spot for those wanting a drink away from the music action.

Over 80 food outlets are also spread across the site, offering a wide range of options for meat eaters, vegans and gluten free consumers alike. Festival-goers can expect to see stalls selling burgers, pizzas, chips, sandwiches, salads, ice creams and more.

In the campsite village, an on-site Co-op is located, selling everything you’d expect to find in a standard high-street store, with the exception of alcohol.
