In an under-19s match between Durbanville and Bishops Rugby in South Africa, the two sides could barely be kept apart. There was just a single point between them, with the game all but over.
Durbanville had one last chance to secure the win, with a promising attacking position in the final moments. The ball was pinged to the full-back, who looked to the stands and smashed the ball off the pitch, wrongly thinking Durbanville had just won the game.
His team-mates were understandably furious, with one player marching back and forth appearing to be absolutely seething.
The crowd fell silent after a chorus of dismay reverberated around the ground, with the mood switching from gripping tension to to disappointment in a split second.
You really have to feel for the young man, and hopefully he will come back stronger after a horrific miscalculation. These are the moments which mould you as a player, and more importantly, as a person.
