Crazy House Prices: Inchicore home selling for price four times higher than eight years ago

A family home in Inchicore is selling for a price at least four times higher than what it was bought for eight years ago.

An ongoing auction for the property at 6 Woodfield Terrace, which started at an asking price of €475,000, is currently sat at a whopping top bid of €661,000.

And the incumbent owners are set to land a massive profit as the same house was only bought back in 2013 for a relatively scant €165,000 - four times lower than the current price.

The asking price, originally set at €475,000 on myhome.ie, has also since raised to an eye-watering €595,000.

The auction is being followed by the Twitter account Crazy House Prices, who said "we have reached peak dysfunction" when the price of the top bid was sat at €617,000.
