Crazed knifeman 'slashes homeless man in head' as dangerous Dublin city attacker STILL at large

A crazed knifeman who allegedly slashed a homeless person in the head is still at large as Gardai launch a manhunt.

The bloody knife attack took place at the exact same time as tragic Josh Dunne was fatally stabbed in East Wall and one man was critically injured on O'Connell Street during a night of horror in Dublin city.

Store Street Gardai rushed to the scene of the third and separate attack on Talbot Street on Tuesday at around 9pm.

It is understood that a homeless man in his 40s was the victim of the brutal assault, suffering severe cuts to his head.

No one has been arrested yet in connection with this attack but officers confirm that investigations are ongoing.

A Garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Officers responded to reports of an alleged assault that occurred in Talbot Street, Dublin 1 on the evening of Tuesday, 26 January.
