Thank you for the list of podcasts for those of us who “need to make sense of life” (1 February). Could you also recommend one that tells us how to cope with living in an economic system that is largely dictated by the needs of a globalised deregulated economy, founded on the principle that the polluter never pays, and profit is all?

In response to a recent offer of books to my local library, they were declined because the library had “too many books”.
