Crash partially blocks road in Bedminster

A crash has partially blocked a main road in south Bristol.

According to the traffic monitoring site Inrix, the collision took place in Bedminster Road between the A4174 Parson Street and Marksbury Road.

The road has been partially blocked in both directions this morning - but it is hoped it will be cleared soon.

Driver, 87, rushed to hospital after rolling car at notorious crossroads

There are currently no details of the vehicles involved in the crash or the severity of the incident.

The road remains open but is partially blocked in both directions.

There is a slight build up of traffic along Bedminster Road close to both the Parson Street and Marksbury Road junction.

But Inrix reports that traffic in the area is coping well.

So far this Easter Monday the roads across the city remain clear with some build up at known traffic hotspots such as Temple Gate, Bedminster Bridge Roundabout and the A4320 Easton Way.

The motorways around the city are also looking pretty clear so far.
