Police have raced to the scene of a crash on the M74 near Uddingston, with photos from the scene showing an overturned trailer blocking a stretch of the road.
Traffic Scotland confirmed the incident shortly before 1pm this afternoon which has blocked three of the four northbound lanes between junction 4 and 5.
Traffic Scotland Tweeted: "RTC N/B J5-J4.
"Lanes 1 2 & 3 (of 4) blocked.
"Police are on scene.
"Traffic is queuing on approach."
Meanwhile, photos shared on social media appear to show the overturned trailer in front of a large queue of cars.
A Police Scotland spokesperson has since confirmed: "We received a report of a one-vehicle collision involving a van and trailer on the M74 at Uddingston around 12.45pm on Wednesday, September 30.
"The lanes currently blocked as they wait to be uplifted.
"There are no reports of any injuries."
