There is slow traffic on the M5 northbound between J19 for Portishead and J20 for Clevedon because of a crash.
As a result of the crash today (Tuesday, August 18), one lane is currently closed which is causing slow traffic on the northbound carriageway.
The traffic and travel service Inrix is reporting the traffic problems on the M5 and says: "One lane closed and slow traffic due to accident on M5 Northbound from J20 B3133 Ettlingen Way (Clevedon) to J19 A369 Martcombe Road (Portishead).
"Lane one (of four) is closed."
It comes after a serious crash on the M4 this morning saw the carriageway closed for five hours.
A car and a lorry were involved in the crash on the M4 eastbound between J22 to J21.
