There are lane closures in place on the M4 westbound this morning (March 30) following a crash near Chippenham.
Lanes two and three have been shut between J16 Royal Wootton Bassett and J17 Chippenham as a result of the collision, which took place at around 6.30am.
Highways England has said police are at the scene and warned the closures are likely to remain in place until around 8.30am this morning.
Motorists have been advised to pass with caution in the meantime.
Highways England said on Twitter: "#M4 Westbound between J16 #RoyalWoottonBassett and J17 #Chippenham.
"We currently have lanes 2 and 3 closed due to a traffic collision. Our Traffic Officers and police on scene dealing.
"Please obey signals and pass with caution."
Traffic monitoring system Inrix says traffic is currently coping well on the M4.
