Lanes reopened on M2 following road traffic collision

Two lanes on the M2 have reopened following a crash earlier this morning.

The crash occurred on the M2 northbound on Wednesday evening causing long delays for motorists.

Trafficwatch NI said: "Road traffic collision leaving city at J1 Fortwilliam - moved to hard shoulder all traffic lanes open."

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police attended and had cars moved to hard shoulder by 5.05pm and now all clear.

"There were no serious injuries."
