Crash blocking Hindmarsh Drive, Canberra Avenue intersection cleared

A 30-year-old woman has been transported to hospital after a two-car collision at the intersection of Canberra Avenue and Hindmarsh Drive.

A police spokesman confirmed ACT Policing was investigating the circumstances of the crash but no charges had been laid.

About 11am on Saturday, police responded to the collision which has blocked access to Newcastle Street from Hindmarsh Drive.

Emergency services left the scene about 3pm after the road had been cleared. Motorists have been advised to proceed with caution.

Police urged anyone who witnessed the collision or had dash-cam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, quoting reference 6733020.
