FOUR people have been taken to hospital following a crash involving a car and an ambulance.
The collision happened on the A98 at Arradoul near Buckie in Moray at around 6.50am on Monday.
The Scottish Ambulance Service said one person was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary while three people were taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin by road.
Police have closed the A990 and A942 junctions in Buckie and asked people to avoid the area.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 6.56am to attend a two-vehicle road traffic collision at A98 junction on the A942, near Buckie.
“We dispatched multiple resources to the scene including three ambulances, a critical care paramedic (CCP) and Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA).
“We transported three patients to Dr Gray’s Hospital, and one patient was transported by SCAA to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.”
Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
