Craig Tara bosses Haven confirm two staff members isolating after positive coronavirus tests

Two members of staff at Craig Tara are self isolating after testing positive for coronavirus, bosses at the park have confirmed.

Haven, the firm which runs the busy site on the outskirts of Ayr, said it had complied fully with NHS Test & Protect procedures following the results.

NHS bosses today confirmed that a contact tracing operation had taken place.

A spokesperson for Craig Tara Holiday Park said: "We can confirm that two team members are currently self-isolating having tested positive for Covid-19 more than seven days ago.

"The park has complied fully with all necessary NHS Test & Protect procedures and health regulators.

"They have confirmed the risk to holidaymakers and owners is low and all bookings continue to be fulfilled.

"We'd like to reassure all holidaymakers and owners that Haven has a number of strict protocols covering hygiene, social distancing and PPE firmly in place across all its parks to ensure all visitors to our parks feel safe and secure whilst on holiday with us."
