Craig Revel-Horwood praises 'brilliant' Bill Bailey ahead of Strictly Come Dancing final

Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel-Horwood has thrown support behind Bill Bailey ahead of the series final.

This weekend fans will watch Maisie Williams and Gorka Marquez, Bill Bailey and Oti Mabuse, HRVY and Janette Manrara and Jamie Laing and Karen Hauer battle it out to be crowned the winner of Strictly 2020.

And during an appearance on Wednesday's Good Morning Britain, Craig Revel-Horwood shared his appreciation for comedian Bill and dubbed him as "brilliant."

Speaking to hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, he admitted that the cohort are all super talented and said the decision of the winner is down to viewers.

The dancing guru shared: "The audience are the ones who decide, they are all eight, nine, ten dancers and I love Bill and so does the general public and the ball is in their court."

Piers then cheekily said: "He is the Captain Tom of Strictly - shuffling about!"

Craig jibbed back: "He is more than shuffling, Piers! He works hours and hours and he is brilliant."

He lavished more praise as he gushed: "He can lend himself to any dance style!"

Bill is fully focused on winning the final with partner Oti on Saturday.

This weekend Bill and Oti, 30, will perform three dances – a quickstep, which is the judges’ choice, a showdance and their favourite routine to Rapper’s Delight.

And he has dared to dream about lifting the glitterball trophy.

He told The Mirror: “I’ve allowed myself to think, ‘Well, we’ve come this far...’”
