Craig Revel Horwood critiqued Kelvin Fletcher's bottom on Strictly Come Dancing

Kelvin Fletcher wowed with a waltz on tonight's Strictly Come Dancing - but judge Craig Revel Horwood had one criticism.

The former Emmerdale actor glided across the dancefloor with professional dance partner Oti Mabuse to What The World Needs Now, and Craig thought his derriere was jutting out too much.

"It's a nice bottom but pull it in darling," Bruno critiqued on the BBC One dance show .

"There’s nothing whatsoever wrong with Kelvin’s bottom in my book," hit back one viewer on Twitter.

At the other end of the judging panel Bruno Tonioli said about the graceful performance: "I really felt it Kelvin."

He added: "For such a big hulk you're light on your feet."

And Oti's judge sister Motsi said: "You guys created such a beautiful atmosphere."

Coronation Street star Sally Ann Matthews tweeted after their dance: "OH MY GOD KELVIN! That dance was so beautiful. That arm embrace, that back arch, amazing!!"

Kelvin, 35, also won hearts for introducing Oti to his nan at the bingo in his home town Oldham.

"I think I’d like to go to the bingo with Kelvin Fletcher’s nan," said one fan.

"To see your nan play bingo is the most Northern Man thing possible," commented another.

Kelvin raised temperatures across the nation during last week's Strictly Come Dancing with his hip-shaking samba.

Fans have been re-watching the 'spicy' routine after the pair made their debut on the opening live show.

Kelvin, who played Emmerdale's Andy Sugden for 20 years until 2016, had only two weeks to prepare for the opening night after stepping in as a replacement for The Only Way Is Essex star Jamie Laing who withdrew from the contest following injury.

He and Oti danced the samba to La Vida Es Un Carnaval by Celia Cruz- and they powered straight to the top of the leaderboard with an impressive score of 32 out of a possible 40.
