Former Rangers star Craig Moore reckons Alfredo Morelos will stay at Ibrox despite swirling speculation surrounding his future.
The 25-year-old is on Porto's radar but Record Sport revealed on Wednesday night no bid has been made for the Colombian international.
It's understood the Euro big-hitters have yet to firm up their interest as they work through a list of potential summer targets.
And Moore - who now works as an agent - has revealed his information leads him to believe El Bufalo is likely to stick around as Steven Gerrard eyes a place in the Champions League group stage.
Speaking to Go Radio, he said: "I've heard mixed things on the Morelos and Porto situation, ranging from Porto not being interested to Morelos not being interested in them.
"So, it just seems a bit of a strange situation. Rangers, for me, would want to keep Morelos now and if they were going to lose him you've got to have a deadline, so you know exactly where you stand in regards of moving forward within the season.
"I think Morelos will stay."
Moore then responded to a caller who was discussing how much Rangers would receive if their star striker was to leave this summer.

He added: "The £15-20 million you're talking about, the market globally, it has dropped significantly.
"So, the £15-20m for me, at this moment in time, is unrealistic and Rangers aren't going to receive an offer of that kind of value."
