Craig Levein to face SFA hearing after being hit with misconduct charge

Craig Levein will face a Scottish FA disciplinary hearing after being hit with a misconduct charge for his behaviour during an Under 18 Edinburgh derby.

It’s understood Levein has been charged for using foul and abusive language.

The Hearts boss was attending the game in his role of Director of Football at the Tynecastle club and was not in the technical area.

He will attend the hearing at Hampden on 17 April and any punishment is likely to come by way of a fine.

A breakdown of the long term injuries Hearts have had to contend with this season

The wee Jambos won the capital clash earlier this month 3-2 at Oriam after to goals from Connor Smith, Cammy Logan and Leeroy Makovora put them 3-0 up.

Hibs then pulled two back late on but were unable to find another to level the scores.

He was previously hit with a one-match touchline ban after vociferous criticism of referee Bobby Madden’s performance during Hearts’ 2-1 defeat to Rangers back in December.
