Craig Levein has sensationally tipped England to win Euro 2020 on home soil this summer.
The former Scotland boss believes the Auld Enemy possess a strong chance of winning their first major tournament in over 50 years.
England have been backed by the bookmakers' favourites to win the tournament ahead of France, Germany, Portugal and Spain.
Scotland face their arch rivals in the Group D clash at Wembley on Friday, June 18 as Steve Clarke ’s men look to cause a huge upset.
But Levein, who managed his country for a near three-year spell, tipped Gareth Southgate's side to lift the trophy this summer.
Levein said on BBC Sportsound. ““I fancy England in this tournament.
”I just think they’ve got really, really good players all over the field.
“I don’t think there is really an area where you could pinpoint a weakness in that spot.

“I also think that Gareth’s had the team together for a while now and they know what they’re doing.
“At some point, they are going to get a break as well. They’ve got to semi-finals and they haven’t performed at a level that they can reach if they all performed as well as they can.
“I’ve just got a funny feeling that France aren’t at their best. I agree that Italy are a really good side and I also think that Turkey could cause an upset in that match.
“Coming back to England, I just think they’ve got good enough players to win the tournament.
"They’ve had a long drought but I’ve got a funny feeling that it might be their year.”
