A crafty dad has built his son an amazing Lego -themed bed after being unable to find one in shops.
Danny Smith built the single bed from scratch for his Lego-mad son using wood, basic DIY tools and a few pots of paint.
Danny shared the pictures of his project saying: "Me and my lad made a Lego bed.
"We searched all over to buy one but couldn't find anything close to what we wanted, so we made our own.
"The building of the inner & outer frame, and the arrangement of the brickwork layout was relatively straight forward.
"The painting took some time and patience, but I think overall the end result is not bad at all. My lad is chuffed to bits with it.
"Danny posted the amazing results onto the DIY on a Budget Facebook page and got more than 2,500 comments from fellow parents impressed with his skills.
One said: "That's amazing, well done."Another said: "Wow that is absolutely fantastic."
"Pretty darn slick," said another.
Danny was overwhelmed with the response adding: "Wow, thank you everyone for all your comments"
