CPI-ML launches election campaign in Koderma Lok Sabha constituency

The Communist Party of India Marxist-Leninist (CPI-ML) on Saturday launched poll campaign for Koderma Lok Sabha constituency on martyrdom day of Bhagat Singh with flagging off of the ‘Parivartan March’.

Party general secretary Deepankar Bhattacharya flagged off march from Bhagat Singh square located at Saria in Giridih district that is part of the constituency being organized by the Inqubalabi Nawjawan Sabha( INS) members.

Talking to media persons at Saria, Deepankar said his party is all set to contest Koderma and Palamu Lok Sabha seats. “At Koderema it’s only the CPI-ML that can beat BJP. Candidates for both seats would be declared very soon,” he said.

Hitting out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi on coining ‘Main Bhi Chaukidar’ Deepankar said if at all the PM is concerned for welfare of chaukidars he must upgrade their salary equivalent to officers. “Just by coining few words one cannot become well-wisher of chaukidars,” said Deepankar.

Deepakar once again alleged that Modi government has played a dubious role in Rafael aircraft deal and has received kickbacks. Deepakankar also paid tributes to Bhagat Singh during the function. Later, he also addressed a meeting at Rajdhanwar.

Former Bagodar MLA Binod Singh, who too was present during the flagging off the parivartan yatra said, the members of the INS and youth wing would march in all six assembly segments of the Koderma Lok Sabha seat to ensure that the message of party is disseminated among the voters of the constituency.

March has commence at all six assembly segments and would conclude on March 31at Bagodar. Party has organized a public meeting on concluding of the march at Bagodar, said Binod.
