Club Players Association Chairman Micheal Briody insists that it is ‘unthinkable’ that players will not be available to train for club finals, due to inter-county involvement.
Inter-county training is set to return on 14 September, and Briody fears that without clear parameters and clarification laid out for club managers, players could potentially miss their training and finals.

The GAA has already warned that players will not be insured under the GAA Player Injury Scheme for inter-county action until 14 of September.
Speaking to RTE, Briody said: "What exactly is the rule from 14 September to when a club exits its championship?
"Surely no inter-county manager can have access to a player while he is still involved with his club? If so, will this be enforced?
"That really needs to be clarified.
"For the past three months the gates and pitches have been locked. Everyone respected that. It ensured a level playing field.
"But autonomy has been given to county boards to plan their own return and there won't be any more level fields. Some inter-county managers and boards will respect the deadline - and many won’t."
Each county has authority to structure their own club championship format in the association's 'Return to Play’ roadmap.
This resulted in an 11 week period being set out, strictly for club games to take place.
Club games are permitted to return on Friday 31 July, with all players allowed to return and insured by the GAA Player Injury Scheme.
