Charoen Pokphand (CP) Group has announced the temporary shutdown of its 7-Eleven, CP Fresh Mart and True shops throughout the country on Oct 26, the day of the royal cremation ceremony, to pay last respects to the late King Bhumibol.
Group chief executive Suphachai Chearavanont said CP would like to join with the Thai people in honouring the late King at the time of his cremation.
7-Eleven convenience stores nationwide will close their doors from 2.30pm until midnight on Oct 26. CP Fresh Mart will close at 3pm and reopen on Oct 27 at 6am.
True Shops (except for airport locations) will close on Oct 26 at 3pm and resume regular business hours on Oct 27.
