Cowboys WR Bryant: NFL still needs to work on what is considered a catch

FRISCO, Texas _ Unlike most fans, Dez Bryant has moved on from his overturned catch in the 2014 playoffs. He's currently more focused on being able to play Sunday than what happened nearly two years ago at Lambeau Field.

But since he's returning to the scene of the crime, Bryant was asked about it this week.

"They need to still work on it," Bryant said. "I've seen a lot of stuff where, how is that a catch and that's not a catch. So I hope they do a better job. If they need my input, I'm here. Pretty sure lot of guys would want to get involved in that. Hopefully they'll get it."

So Bryant is saying that NFL vice president of officiating Dean Blandino hasn't reached out for the star receiver's advice?

"Nah, nah, nah," Bryant said. "I'm pretty sure they don't want me on it."

Until the problem is solved, Bryant might just have to wait a minute before he can celebrate his next highlight catch.

"I got to keep my eyes on the official to make sure before I celebrate," Bryant said. "I think that's the way I'm going to go about it. If I make a catch or I think I got the ball, I'm going to look at him, 'I'm good? I'm good?' And then if he tells me I'm good, I'm going to celebrate."
