FRISCO, Texas _ Frisco police arrested Dallas Cowboys receiver Terrance Williams early Saturday morning on a charge of public intoxication, a Class C misdemeanor, after police found his Lamborghini crashed into a light pole.
According to a press release from the Frisco Police Department, at around 4:45 a.m. Frisco PD responded to an accident in the area of Frisco Green Avenue and Lebanon road where they found that a 2017 blue Lamborghini had struck a light pole.
The driver of the vehicle had fled the scene and could not be found in the area, but Frisco PD were able to determine the vehicle was registered to Williams.
FPD located Williams near his residence riding an electric bicycle in the road, where he was arrested.
He has since been released from the Frisco Detention Center on a $369 bond.
He was also given a misdemeanor at large charge for leaving the scene of an accident.
The Cowboys are aware of the arrest, per a source.
It's not a good look for Williams and his future with the Cowboys after an offseason of change at the receiver position.
Williams is sidelined until training camp with a fractured foot. So, he is already missing the offseason program, OTAs and minicamp.
The team has said goodbye to No. 1 receiver Dez Bryant and has welcomed a new receivers coach in Sanjay Lal, free agents Allen Hurns and Deonte Thompson and 2018 draft picks Michael Gallup and Cedric Wilson.
