Cowboys QB Dak Prescott says he’ll be good to go for game vs. Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles are set to face the Dallas Cowboys and after days of speculation about his playing status, Dak Prescott helped put some of his injury concerns to rest.

The Cowboys star is dealing with a sprained shoulder and as of Tuesday, there was some speculation about his ability to be functional as a passer on Sunday.

Prescott addressed the media on Thursday after being a limited participant in practice and confirmed that he’ll be “good to go” for the showdown in Philly.

Prescott has only gone through the footwork and agility portions of practice, as he’s not taken a snap in practice the past two days and he has yet to attempt to throw. Prescott said he hopes to go through a full workout before the Cowboys fly to Philadelphia.

“I’m getting better, simple as that,” Prescott said. “Mobility, the function of it, it’s all improving. That’s the key. That’s the goal.”

The Cowboys can clinch the division and a playoff spot for the second straight year if they beat the Eagles, while a Philadelphia win would not eliminate the Cowboys from the postseason, but they would need help in Week 17.
