ARLINGTON, Texas He was sitting on the field clutching his right leg. You kept looking thinking something was wrong with the calf. But the longer you looked, the more it was discovered Dak Prescott's right foot was not right. His ankle was situated in a way that's not normal. And when a crying Prescott was carted off the field, his right leg, in a cast, you knew this entire 2020 Cowboys season has changed.
The Cowboys survived the loss of Prescott with a dramatic 37-34 victory on Sunday at AT&T Stadium when Greg Zuerlein made a 34-yard field goal as time expired.
Andy Dalton doesn't get the win but two great throws to Michael Gallup on the game-winning drive set everything up. It was Dalton's first game winning drive since 2015. He will now take over as QB1 for the Cowboys. The last time Dalton had a winning record as a quarterback was 2015 with the Bengals. Since that time, Dalton is 20-35-1 as a starter.
