Cowboys DE Randy Gregory suspended indefinitely for violating substance abuse policy

One of the Philadelphia Eagles biggest rivals suffered some devastating news on Tuesday when ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Dallas Cowboys star defensive end, Randy Gregory, has been suspended indefinitely for violating the league’s substance abuse policy again.

Gregory had 8 sacks for the Cowboys in 2018, but now a fourth suspension puts him on the sidelines with another long road back. Gregory was reinstated in 2018 after serving a one-year suspension that kept him off the field for the entire 2017 season. Gregory was also suspended for a total of 14 games during the 2016 season for a repeat violation of the same policy.

Against the Eagles in 2018, Gregory accounted for 2 sacks, 2 total tackles in two Cowboys wins.
