Cowboys claim DT Ron’Dell Carter off waivers from Colts

The Dallas Cowboys claimed defensive tackle Ron’Dell Carter off of waivers from the Indianapolis Colts, per the league’s transaction wire on Wednesday.

Carter was initially signed by the Colts from the Cowboys practice squad but never saw a snap in a game since joining Indy. He was a healthy scratch for the entirety of his short tenure with the Colts.

Carter was waived by the Colts on Tuesday after they signed undrafted rookie wide receiver DeMichael Harris to the active roster.

Carter originally signed with the Cowboys this offseason as an undrafted rookie free agent following the 2020 NFL draft.
