Gardai have issued an appeal for witnesses after two boys were horrifically attacked in south Dublin.
One of the boys, 15, was eating lunch with his friend in Sundrive Park, Crumlin when the disgusting yobs launched their unprovoked and violent ambush at around 12:20pm on Monday.
Gardai are investigating after grown-adult thugs allegedly rained down blows on the innocent young lad's face while shouting sickening racial slurs.
The terrified young man was taken to Our Lady's Children's Hospital with facial injuries following the alleged assault in which he was allegedly pummelled mercilessly.
A friend, 14, attempted to intervene but was physically and verbally attacked by one of the three men, but didn't need treatment for his injuries.
A garda spokesman said: "The three male suspects, aged in their early 20s, made their exit from Eamonn Ceannt Park (Sundrive Park) onto Sundrive Road on foot.
"One of the males was reported to be wearing a black jacket while the other two males were reported as wearing a dark grey jacket and a blue jacket.
"No arrests have been made to-date in connection with this assault."
Gardai are appealing to people who may have camera footage of the incident or those who were in the Sundrive Park/Sundrive Road area from 12:15 pm to 12:30 pm who may have observed the movements of the three male suspects to contact them.
