'Cow-free Big Mac' among new vegan junk food menu at Kcal Kitchen in Edinburgh

Why should vegans have to miss out on the joys of junk food?

Health food restaurant Kcal Kitchen, which has a branch near the Shore in Leith, is launching a new vegan junk food menu next week.

It comes after their weekend bottomless brunch deal which had unlimited food.

They'll soon be offering up a "moo-less Big Mac", a towering double-decker burger made without any beef.

You can also find meat-free versions of chicken nuggets and Kcal's beloved salt and and chilli chicken.

Kcal will be announcing plenty more vegan meals in the coming days, as well as other items on their regular menu.

These include the delicious-looking "Hebridean", made from waffles, black pudding and eggs.
