A walk-in vaccine clinic has been set up inside a Matalan store in Leeds and anyone over 16 can receive a jab.

Starting today (Friday, January 7) people will be able to receive a dose of the Pfizer jab from Halton Pharmacy, inside the Matalan Store, in Selby Road.

The service is available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 9am to 5pm.

People over the age of 16 will be able to get their first and second jab as well as the booster vaccine.

Anyone over the age of 16 can have their second dose eight weeks following their first dose and you need to have had two doses and wait 3 months before you can have a booster.

People who are immunosuppressed will also be able to get their fourth jab there.

You do not need to book an appointment for a jab at a walk-in vaccine centre but you can make a booking online.

The clinics are run on a first come first serve basis. If there is high demand and supplies are used up, they may have to close early.
