There will be three more walk in test centres opening up in Dublin this weekend.
Health Minister Stephen Donnelly announced the three centres in the capital will be among the five that are set to open on Saturday.
The centres will be located in:
- Mulhuddart Dublin 15
- Ballyfermot/Palmerstown
- Dublin 8
The exact locations of the centres are expected to be announced later today.
Meanwhile the testing centre for walk-ins in Finglas is going to continue until Sunday.
Posting an update last night, the Health Minister said: "The HSE is to open five additional 'walk-in' COVID-19 test centres for asymptomatic people from this Saturday. The full details, including exact locations and Eircodes will be announced tomorrow."
Two North Dublin walk-in testing centres have returned the highest positivity rate of all of the new facilities that opened last week in updated figures released by the HSE.
Centres in Finglas at Colaiste Eoin and in Blanchardstown both have the highest positivity levels, with tests there hovering over 4% positivity.
The two sites were also well above the average of 2.6% for the other locations that have popped up across the country.
The testing centres are open from 11am to 7pm.
You can use this free, walk-in COVID-19 testing service if you:
- Are aged 16 years and over
- Do not have symptoms of COVID-19 but would like to be tested
- Live within 5k of the walk-in testing centre
- Have not tested positive for COVID-19 in the last six months
