(Picture: PA Archive)Fully vaccinated travellers can now visit France without quarantining on their return to the UK, after travel rule changes came into force on Sunday.
France moved from its own amber-plus category onto the amber list, which means children and fully vaccinated passengers do not have to quarantine on their return, while unvaccinated travellers still have to self-isolate at home for 10 days.
Ahead of France’s move to the amber list, travel companies reported a boost in interest in journeys to France.
Brittany Ferries said bookings between the UK and France had more than doubled after the government’s announcement earlier this week, and Eurostar said it was ready to increase capacity on its London-Paris route.
