Non-essential travel between Scotland and France has been banned amid fears about the April 02 Covid variant.
Those travelling from the UK will only be allowed to enter the country if they can prove they have a "compelling reason" to do so. The rules apply to anyone arriving by air, car, ferry and train, and those who have been vaccinated are also subject to the restriction.
French health officials have expressed some concern about the number of cases of the new variant in the UK, believed to be linked to a rise in cases in parts of Scotland.
France has been on the 'amber list' for travel into Scotland, meaning anyone arriving here must take a pre-departure Covid test and self-isolate at home or in a place of their choosing for ten days.

This news comes as Nicola Sturgeon prepares to make an announcement regarding Scotland's lockdown levels restrictions.
The First Minister will set out to the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday which, if any, parts of mainland Scotland will move down to level one on June 7. She's also expected to decide whether Glasgow will be able to move down to level two this weekend.
