Nicola Sturgeon will deliver an update on the covid pandemic in Scotland in a statement later today.
The First Minister will address MSPs at the Scottish Parliament this afternoon where she will give the latest assessment on the crisis.
Scotland recorded 1,760 new coronavirus cases yesterday, according to the latest data.
No deaths were recorded in the same period, but most registry offices are closed at the weekend.
A total of 1,001 people were in hospital with recently confirmed Covid-19, up six in 24 hours, of whom 71 are in intensive care, down four.

What will she speak about?
The First Minister will offer an update on the current state of the pandemic, including Scotland's latest figures.
Last week Nicola Sturgeon confirmed the launch of the NHS Covid Status App, providing a digital record of a user’s vaccination status. She also announced there will be a two-week grace period for businesses to adapt to the new scheme before it is legally enforced.
But thousands of users reported problems while using the app in the first few days after its release.
Scotland's Deputy First Minister John Swinney stressed that 280,000 people had managed to get it to work by Sunday afternoon, but acknowledged there were still a "very small number of cases" where people were unable to download a QR code as proof of vaccination.
When will she speak?
The First Minister is expected to deliver her speech between 2pm and 3pm to the Scottish Parliament. She will then take questions from other MSPs.
Where can I watch it?
The statement will be available to watch on the Scottish Parliament's website as well as on the BBC Scotland channel.
